Automotive electronics safety / ISO 26262 - Stuttgart
September 27, 2010
to September 28, 2010
The implementation of the standard aims at ensuring functional safety of electric and electronic systems within a vehicle. In this regard, the standard is a derivative of existing standard IEC 61508, adapted to the specific conditions of automotive environments. Final release of ISO 26262 is expected for 2011.
The conference covers topics such as
- accident research - an important foundation for the ISO 26262 discussion;
- product liability - how ISO 26262 will affect OEMs and suppliers;
- methodological approaches - what you can lern for your designs;
- real-world implementations - learn from experiences of competitors and partners;
- peering across the rim - how ISO 39001 affects road traffic.
The conference targets business and technical management and experts in the vehicle industry and its suppliers including electronics and electric industry with activities related to automotive design.
The event takes place on September 27 and 28 in the Millennium Hotel, Stuttgart, Germany. For more information, visit www.euroforum.de/iso-konferenz or contact info@euroforum.com.
